Terminal E Extension**
DFW International Airport
The project consisted of additions to the existing Terminal E building at the DFW airport. Recommendations were provided for preserving the existing moisture conditions thus reducing the extent of subgrade improvement to keep the PVR below 1-inch. This resulted in substantial construction cost savings to the airport. Drilled piers bearing in the shale were recommended for the building.
