Loop 1604 Reconstruction from I 10 to FM 1346**

The project consisted of assessing the existing Loop 1604 and provide recommendations for overlay/rehabilitation/reconstruction. Pavement recommendations were provided according to the TxDOT Pavement Manual and the San Antonio District Pavement Design Guide. Data from Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) and soil borings were used to provide the pavement recommendations. Sulfates were a major concern along the alignment. Recommendations were provided for select fill replacement to address sulfate heave.
