George Bush Intercontinental Airport
The project consisted of an approximately 265,000 SF, two-level, 12-gate domestic concourse, ramp paving, hydrant fueling system and underground utility tunnels which are not below the proposed building(one-level subterranean). Drilling was performed during day and night requiring extensive coordination with the landside operations and the airside operations. Drilled piers and auger-cast piles were recommended for the proposed terminal building.
This project was awarded 2017 Airport/Transit Best Project Award by ENR Texas-Louisiana.
